As a member of the Marketing department, this position is responsible for the following:

  • Develops and optimizes communication strategies across diverse digital platforms including social media, e-mail, intranet, websites, mobile and e-commerce;
  • Provides guidance and support in content creation and design engagements for NLCs retail, corporate and cannabis websites;
  • Grows NLC’s online presence and enhances brand visibility by finding innovative strategies to drive website traffic and social media engagement;
  • Leverages digital opportunities to engage and educate consumers responsibly, fostering sales growth with a focus on social responsibility;
  • Develops digital marketing performance measurements and monitors post-campaign analytics to continuously improve the user experience;
  • Contributes key insights into the development of NLC’s omni-channel strategy;
  • Manages and coordinates day-to-day interactions with the general public, customers, media, corporate employees, and store management and staff on social media channels;
  • Ensures NLC’s online voice is consistent and reflects the Corporation’s mission and values.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • University degree with a concentration in marketing/communications, social media management/graphic design or reasonable equivalent education;
  • 5 years experience working as digital content leader;
  • A creative marketing mindset with exceptional communications skills;
  • Experience in UX design;
  • Experience with content management platforms, email service providers, social media dashboards and relevant analytic tools;
  • Computer Skills:
    • o MS Office (Office; Word; EXCEL; Power Point)
    • o Graphic design software (Adobe Suite, EPS, etc.)
    • o Social media operational skill set (Facebook, twitter, instagram, Google business, LinkedIn, YouTube)
    • o Online content development expertise with HTML and CSS proficiencies
